hey guys sorry i havent been updating my blog. Well, we just finished up a good ski trip, we took 1st in our region for wrestling, and ive had a tough year in spanish. i failed with a 67. in the 1st semester i had a 95 avg. for the semester. so i wont fail for the year but im really stressed out about the rest of the year. so please give me your prayers in that this new teacher and i will will step off on teh right foot this next six weeks. thanks and god bless.

Dual againest Allen

We won our dual againest Allen 44-25. In the third period, I forfeited with a knee injury. But the guy was going to win because two more points and he would have had a technial pin. Thats when a person has 15 more points that you do. Hopefully. I can do better with our tournament this weekend. Wish me luck.

Man we sucked at the Super Regionals. We came in 31 out of 57, and that pissed me off because we marched one heck of a show and the stuff we knew was perfect. Anyways, Ill see yall later.

We have UIL tomorrow and if we do really good, we may win district because state was last year. I just realize that our next opportunity for state is next year when I'm a junior. So we (as in my class) wont get to go for our senior year. That stinks. Oh well. Results later this week.

Birdville Marching Contest

On Saturday October 8th, The wildcat band went and performed at their first competition. With over 24 holes in the form (24 people failed). We managed to pull off 4th place in our classification. So going into the finals 7th out of 10 bands, we had a good chance of getting into the top 5. After finals, we recieved 4th overall in colorguard, 3rd in percussion, 3rd in visual, and 2nd in general effect. We placed 5th overall out of 21 bands. In 2 weeks we have our UIL Marching Contest and we have a good chance on going to state. Wish us luck.

We have finally snapped our loosing streak. We won our first district game againest Pearce and we are 1-0 for district. 2-2 overall. LH is going all of the way for State.

We had our first football home-game this evening, and we got whooped. Longview 38- LHHS 7. It was bad. The band had a lot of fun in the stands. But, we still lost. Now our record is 1-2. Hopefully this will be the end of our losing streak.

Hey everyone. How goes it. Well, I had a pretty good day and im going to tell yall about it. I woke up around 10:40 and i went up to church to go and have lunch with our intern, Seth. We called up a friend and we went to Genghis Grill, in Old Town. I REALLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! It's a little expensive but it's worth it. After that, we went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It was pretty good. I would recommend it. After that i went to my friends house, and we got to hang out for a while. After that i went to church for class and Josh Walker spent the night. it was pretty cool. we did a bunch of stuff. Well, thats all for know. Bye-Bye.
